Our collaboration with the British Museum is a celebration of that philosophy, and one we're incredibly proud to share.  

Home to one of the world's most extraordinary collections of art and cultural heritage, The British Museum preserves the stories of civilizations spanning thousands of years. To honor these irreplaceable treasures, our design team spent three years researching, sketching, and refining each design—studying ancient symbols, sculptural details, and decorative motifs before reimagining them through Retro Chic's contemporary vision. From Byzantine crosses and the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar to the ancient Egyptian uraeus serpent, these enduring symbols are transformed into wearable jewelry that brings history into everyday life.

Every piece follows a meticulous creative journey—from historical research and hand-drawn sketches to traditional enamel techniques, carefully selected gemstones, and refined metal craftsmanship. Each design is thoughtfully developed to honor the past while feeling unmistakably modern.
